The Material: MokuTi

MokuTi is the titanium interpretation of the ancient Japanese metalworking art of Mokume-Gane — multiple layers of different titanium alloys bonded under extreme heat and pressure, then worked to reveal a flowing, layered grain pattern unique to every billet. The result is a surface that resembles wood grain, water, or flowing stone — organic, hypnotic, and entirely unrepeatable. Lightweight, hypoallergenic, and extraordinarily durable, MokuTi is among the most prized materials in artisan EDC and luxury craft.

The Craft

Each pipe head is forged by hand from raw MokuTi billet — shaped, ground, and polished through a meticulous multi-stage process. The bowl geometry is precision-formed for optimal airflow and heat distribution. The finish is hand-polished to full depth to reveal the complete layered pattern, then sealed to preserve the natural titanium surface. The result is a pipe head that performs as beautifully as it looks.
