Mokume Gane — the ancient Japanese art of layering and forge-welding dissimilar metals — forms the body of each scale. Then, set into that already extraordinary surface, are hand-forged Mokuti inlays — a rare molybdenum-titanium alloy that produces a swirling, iridescent pattern unlike anything else in the knife world.
